Welcome to Fairfield Medical Centre.

With patients' needs at the heart of everything we do, our website has been designed to make it easy for you to gain instant access to the information you need. As well as specific practice details such as opening hours and how to register, you’ll find a wealth of useful pages covering a wide range of health issues along with links to other relevant medical organisations.

Get Well, Keep Well

Of course we’re not just here for when you are unwell. Our team of healthcare professionals and back-up staff offer a number of clinics and services to promote good health and wellbeing whatever your medical condition.

Flu clinics

Our flu clinics are in the process of being set up. For more information or to book an appointment in one of the flu clinics - please telephone our reception team.

The clinics are being set up across different days of the week / times of the day - so there will hopefully be something available to suit everybody. Clinics currently available include:

07 December

12:30 to 13:00

14 December

12:30 to 13:00

The injected flu vaccine is offered free of charge on the NHS to people who are at risk. This is to ensure they are protected against catching flu and developing serious complications.

For more information about who is eligible for a free flu vaccine (and for information about children) - please click here.

Staff training

We are sorry - but due to training - there will be no GP appointments available on the afternoon of Wednesday 06 December:

  • our receptionists will still be available to book appointments for 07 December onwards
  • please call '01372 738373' for a GP appointment after 18:00 in a local health facility
  • please call '999' for medical emergencies
  • please call '111' if you need urgent medical assistance or GP advice during this time
